In March 2024, the China NMPA approved an innovative product registration application for a CT angiography software designed to assist in the detection of intracranial aneurysms.
The product consists of software installation programs, including a browser-side and a server-side component. It is utilized for the display, processing, measurement, and analysis of head and neck CT angiography images, specifically aimed at assisting in the detection of intracranial aneurysms measuring 3mm and above.
Employing techniques such as head and neck vascular centerline extraction and vessel segmentation, this product significantly enhances the sensitivity of detecting intracranial aneurysms. Its approval holds significant importance in improving patients’ quality of life and increasing survival rates.
